The cast of Alan Hruska's Ring Twice for Miranda met the press at their rehearsal studio on January 10. The new work, directed by Rick Lombardo, begins performances January 24 at New York City Center – Stage II.
Ring Twice for Miranda is described as follows: "A man known only as Sir rules with a vengeance, but it's Miranda, a chambermaid, who adds intrigue to his life. When Elliot, the butler, is fired, she flees with him in defiance onto the frightening streets. All must soon make critical decisions with imperfect facts to guide them, since little in their world is as it appears."
The company is made up of William Connell, Katie Kleiger, Ian Lassiter, Graeme Malcolm, George Merrick, Daniel Pearce, and Talia Thiesfield. The production features scenic design by Jason Sherwood, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward, lighting design by Matthew Richard, sound design by Rick Lombardo, and original music by Haddon Kime.
