Elizabeth McGovern, Charlotte Parry, and more star in this J.B. Priestley drama presented by Roundabout Theatre Company.
Rebecca Taichman's new Broadway revival of J.B. Priestley's Time and the Conways celebrated its opening night at the American Airlines Theatre on October 10.
The Roundabout Theatre Company production stars Elizabeth McGovern as Mrs. Conway, alongside Steven Boyer (Ernest), Anna Camp (Hazel), Gabriel Ebert (Alan), Charlotte Parry (Kay), Matthew James Thomas (Robin), Anna Baryshnikov (Carol), Brooke Bloom (Madge), Alfredo Narciso (Gerald), and Cara Ricketts (Joan).
Guests at the opening night celebration included Mikhail Baryshnikov, cheering on his daughter Anna; Skylar Astin, celebrating wife Anna Camp's latest Broadway show; Andrew Rannells; and many others. Check out TheaterMania's photos in the gallery below.
The play is described as follows: "In 1919 Britain, Mrs. Conway is full of optimism during her daughter's lavish 21st birthday celebration. The Great War is over, wealth is in the air, and the family's dreams bubble over like champagne. Leap 19 years into the future, though, and the Conways' lives have transformed unimaginably. This time-jumping play by J.B. Priestley (An Inspector Calls) takes place at the crossroads of today and tomorrow — challenging viewers' notions of choice, chance, and destiny."
The creative team includes Neil Patel (set design), Paloma Young (costume design), Christopher Akerlind (lighting design), and Matt Hubbs (sound design).
