Current Miss America Kira Kazantsev visited the off-Broadway production of Pageant — The Musical at the Davenport Theatre on its closing night. Kazantsev was joined by other Miss America finalists, as well as Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller.

Pageant began performances on June 29 and officially opened on July 14. Written by Bill Russell and Frank Kelly, with music by Albert Evans and concept by Robert Longbottom, the production starred Nick Cearley, Nic Cory, Alex Ringler, Marty Thomas, Seth Tucker, Curtis Wiley, and John Bolton.
