Nathan Lane, Aaron Tveit, and More Honor Hairspray Scribes Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman

Primary Stages held its annual gala on Monday, November 16, at 583 Park Avenue. The evening honored Tony- and Grammy Award-winning songwriters behind Hairspray, Catch Me If You Can, and Smash, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

The evening featured musical numbers from Shaiman and Wittman's many musicals, performed by the likes of Obie winner Bridget Everett (Rock Bottom), Ana Gasteyer (Wicked, Saturday Night Live), Annie Golden (Violet, Orange Is the New Black), Jackie Hoffman (Once Upon a Mattress), Tony winner Nathan Lane (The Producers), Caissie Levy (First Daughter Suite), Aaron Tveit (Grease! LIVE), and more.
