”Bridging the Gap and Other Short Plays” served as a benefit for the Actors Fund.
A starry assortment of performers gathered at New World Stages on October 26 to read six 10-minute plays by actor Wesley Taylor (Smash, Rock of Ages). Bridging the Gap and Other Short Plays by Wesley Taylor served as a benefit for the Actors Fund.
The company included Tony winners Nathan Lane and Stockard Channing, Emmy winner Debra Messing, Tracee Chimo, Bryce Pinkham, Krysta Rodriguez, Dane DeHaan, Becca Tobin, Kyle Beltran, Alice Lee, Adrienne Warren, and Victoria Mack, among others. Jonathan Bernstein and Michael Arden served as directors.

The evening's six 10-minute plays included Bridging the Gap, Spark, Mother, Cuckold, Little Monsters, and Billy Green Auditions for Juilliard.
The Actors Fund is a national human services organization that serves professionals in film, theater, television, music, opera, radio, and dance. The Fund’s programs include social services and emergency financial assistance, health care and insurance counseling, housing, and employment, and training services.
