Three-time Tony winner Nathan Lane was honored by the Drama League at its 35th annual benefit gala on Monday, November 5 at the Plaza Hotel.

The evening was hosted by two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick, who shared the stage with Lane in The Producers, The Odd Couple, and It's Only a Play. They also voiced the roles of Simba and Timon, respectively, in The Lion King.

The black-tie gala featured stars from Hollywood and Broadway in a one-night-only musical tribute to help raise funds for the Drama League's educational initiatives for promising young artists. Guests included Christine Baranski, Mark Linn-Baker, Ernie Sabella, and Billy Eichner, among others.

The Drama League of New York, founded in 1916, is one of the nation's oldest continuously operating not-for-profit arts advocacy and education organizations. Through its programs, initiatives, and events, the Drama League serves over 3,000 artists and 15,000 audience members each season with over 150 events and programs.
