Presenters have been announced for the 2018 Golden Globe Awards and theater vets are filling this year's roster.
Joining the lineup are two former stars of Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Darren Criss and Tony winner Neil Patrick Harris, as well as Greta Gerwig, who starred in MCC Theater's 2014 production of Penelope Skinner's The Village Bike and is the writer and director of this year's hit film Lady Bird.
Broadway icons Carol Burnett and Shirley MacLaine also make the list, alongside stage veterans Sarah Jessica Parker (The Commons of Pensacola), J.K. Simmons (Laughter on the 23rd Floor), Kerry Washington (Race), and Ricky Martin (Evita). Rounding out the list are Halle Berry, Kelly Clarkson, Penélope Cruz, Gal Godot, Hugh Grant, Chris Hemsworth, Christina Hendricks, Isabelle Huppert, Amy Poehler, Edgar Ramírez, Seth Rogen, Sharon Stone, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alicia Vikander, and Emma Watson.
Seth Meyers hosts the 75th annual ceremony, to be broadcast on NBC on January 7 from the Beverly Hilton. The nominees were announced on December 11, and on December 13, Oprah Winfrey was announced as the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award. The Golden Globe Awards honor the best in film and American television.
