Oz is the voice of iconic characters Yoda, Miss Piggy, and more.
Neil Patrick Harris will present, and Frank Oz will direct, the new stage show In & Of Itself, created and performed by Derek DelGaudio. The 10-week limited engagement begins previews on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, with an opening night set for Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square.
Described as a "modern allegory," In & Of Itself explores new ways of seeing the unseeable, as memories from yesterday, inexplicable events witnessed today, and secrets imagined for tomorrow are blended together, creating a perpetual paradox of a show. DelGaudio is best known in New York for the magic show Nothing to Hide.
Harris produces alongside Gary Goddard Entertainment, Prediction Productions, and Tom Werner. Glenn Kaino serves as Artistic Producer of the production, which features original music by Devo frontman Mark Mothersbaugh and design by A.Bandit.
Oz is a four-time Emmy winner, whose films include Little Shop of Horrors, In & Out, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and What About Bob? As a performer, he has famously voiced the iconic characters Yoda, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Grover, and Cookie Monster.
