Tony and Emmy winner John Lithgow (A Delicate Balance) was honored by the New 42nd Street at its annual gala on January 12. Lithgow received the New Victory Arts Award for his work in bringing the arts to children. The evening featured special appearances by Broadway vets including Norbert Leo Butz, Joshua Henry, Marin Mazzie, Kelli O'Hara, David Hyde Pierce, Martha Plimpton, Sherie Rene Scott, and Jack O'Brien. Additionally, the evening also honored the Rudin family with the inaugural Marian Heiskell Award for their role in shaping the future of New York City.
