The new comedy begins tonight.
For Worse starts its run at New Jersey Repertory Company this evening.
Peter is in love. Unfortunately, he has just realized that it is not his wife of three decades that he is in love with. After an epiphany, Peter informs his wife, with whom he has three daughters, that he has been having an affair with another woman for the past three years. Much to his chagrin, she doesn’t leave him, and, to make matters worse, his girlfriend gives him an ultimatum. With his choices in life under the spotlight, Peter must question the meaning of love, friendship, and betrayal.
The play, written by Deborah Rennard, is directed by Evan Bergman. The cast features Ed Kershen, Kristin Griffith, Daniela Mastropietro, and Angie Tennant.
The creative team includes Jessica Parks (set and props design), Michael Bevins (costume design), Jill Nagle (lighting design), Merek Royce Press (sound design), Brian Snyder (technical director), and Jennifer Tardibuono (stage manager).
Performances will run through April 10.
