Nylon Fusion and Live Source will also present new plays.
The New Ohio Theatre has announced its 2015 fall theater season, which will include world premieres from Page 73, Nylon Fusion, Live Source, and Bedlam Theatre.
Kicking off the season from September 1-26 will be the previously announced world premiere of Max Posner's Judy. Opening September 10, the cast will include Frenie Acoba (Matilda The Musical), Birgit Huppuch (Blood Play), Luka Kain (South Pacific), Deirdre O’Connell (By the Water), Marcel Spears (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Danny Wolohan (An Octoroon).
From October 1-25, Nylon Fusion Theatre Company will stage the world premiere of Comes a Faery, written by James McLindon and directed by Shaun Peknic. The production will be performed in rotating repertory with Half Moon Bay, written by John Jiler and directed by Margarett Perry. Comes a Faery will open October 3 with Half Moon Bay opening October 5.
Live Source’s world premiere of The Incredible Fox Sisters will then run October 30-November 8. Written by Jaclyn Backhaus and directed by Tyler Mercer, the production is scheduled to open on October 30.
The season will come to a close with Bedlam Theatre’s previously announced world premiere of New York Animals, a new play by two-time Tony Award winner Steven Sater (Spring Awakening) with music by six-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Academy Award winner Burt Bacharach. Eric Tucker will direct the production, which is set to run November 14-December 20 with an opening on November 29.
