The final 2013 episode of Mo Brady and Nikka Graff Lanzarone’s The Ensemblist podcast is now available. The special double episode, entitled “Listener Questions,” is 40 minutes in duration and features conversations with Lauren Molina (The Skivvies), Shina Ann Morris (Annie), Chelsea Packard (Hands on a Hardbody), Andy Richardson (Newsies), Nic Rouleau (The Book of Mormon), Aléna Watters (Sister Act), and Ryan Worsing (Chicago).
For this episode, the show’s thirteenth, The Ensemblist put out a call through social media for listeners to submit their own questions. In response, Broadway vets will discuss taking over roles they originally covered, why some productions hire standbys to cover roles in addition to the production’s understudies, and more.
The Ensemblist will post two behind-the-scenes video blogs, showing fans how the podcast is created. These videos will be posted to youtube.com/theensemblist on December 23 and 30.
