Broadway musical director Charlie Rosen, recently of One Man, Two Guvnors‘ onstage rock-pop band, will debut his 17-piece big band alongside a bevy of Broadway guest performers on Monday, November 19 at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theater.
The concert will feature arrangements of classic show tunes and standards by Rosen. Guest stars will include Broadway performers Nick Blaemire (Godspell), Hannah Elless (Godspell), Santino Fontana (Cinderella, The Importance of Being Earnest), Andrew Kober (Hair), Caissie Levy (Hair), Alysha Umpress (American Idiot), as well as the band’s resident vocalist, Monet Julia Sabel.
Rosen composed the music for the current Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac and his other Broadway credits include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and 13.
