The pair’s alter egos, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, will take the stage later this month.
After a sold-out run at the Cherry Lane Theatre last winter, comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney are preparing to bring their show Oh, Hello on Broadway to the Lyceum Theatre. To celebrate the production, which begins performances September 23 and opens on October 10, the pair and their alter egos, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, held a press conference to talk up the new comedy.
In Oh, Hello on Broadway, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland are a pair of Alan Alda-obsessed Upper West Side bachelors returning to their New York theatrical roots. Honed for over a decade, the fictional duo garnered a cult following and found their way onto a Comedy Central special, viral videos, and late-night couches everywhere.
Oh, Hello on Broadway has scenic design by Scott Pask, costume consultation by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Jake DeGroot, and sound design by M.L. Dogg.
