Signature Theatre has announced a one-week extension to the world premiere of Residency One playwright Naomi Wallace's Night Is a Room. Performances will now run from November 3-December 20 in Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center. The production's official opening will remain November 22.

Directed by Bill Rauch, Night Is a Room features Dagmara Dominczyk (Golden Boy), Ann Dowd (HBO’s The Leftovers), and Bill Heck (Signature’s The Orphans’ Home Cycle ).

The play is described as a "searing exploration of love's power to both ruin and remake our lives." Liana (Dominczyk) and Marcus (Heck) have a marriage others envy, while Doré (Dowd) has grown accustomed to an isolated existence in her modest flat. After a surprise reunion on Marcus' 40th birthday, their worlds are shattered by an unexpected turn of events.
