The following production will be Little Girl Blue: The Nina Simone Musical (January 29, 2019-February 24, 2019). The fourth production will be Mark Harelik's The Immigrant (March 12, 2019-April 7, 2019), based on the experiences of his Russian-Jewish grandfather's immigration to Galveston, Texas.
Rounding out the season will be Too Heavy for Your Pocket (April 23, 2019-May 19, 2019), written by Jiréh Breon Holder. Set in Nashville at the height of the US civil rights movement, the story follows 20-year-old Bowzie Brandon, who gives up a life-changing college scholarship to join the movement.
