Hilty will play a series of Valentine’s Day weekend shows with the famed musicians.
Broadway and TV favorite Megan Hilty, who currently stars in Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Michael Frayn's Noises Off, will headline a series of concerts with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Valentine's Day weekend. The concerts will take place February 12 at 8pm at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank; February 13 at 8pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark; and February 14 at 3pm at the State Theatre in New Brunswick.
Hilty is best known for her two-season stint as triple-threat Ivy Lynn on the NBC series Smash. On Broadway, she has starred in the musicals 9 to 5 and Wicked. She has starred in New York City Center Encores! productions of Annie Get Your Gun and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
The set list for Hilty's concert series with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra includes romantic songs and favorites from the American Songbook. Todd Ellison will conduct.
