The Penguin Rep Theater will present The How and the Why, a new play by Sarah Treem, writer/producer of HBO’s In Treatment, October 5-28. Joe Brancato will direct.
On the eve of a conference, Rachel, a young biologist, wrestles for the truth with Zelda, an established leader in the field. But the two share more than a passion for science and the choices women of every generation face as the revelation of long-held secrets threatens to change their lives.
The How and the Why stars Obie Award winner Gordana Rashovich and Olivia Horton.
The creative team includes designers James J. Fenton (sets), William Neal (sound), Charlotte Palmer-Lane (costumes), and Todd O. Wren (lights).
