On December 6, Feinstein's/54 Below will host original cast members of the Broadway musical Lysistrata Jones, reprising their Broadway roles in one-night reunion concerts at 7pm and 9:30pm. Original Broadway director Dan Knechtges will helm the concerts, which will feature music direction by original Broadway conductor Brad Simmons.
Cast members set to return to their Broadway roles include Ato Blankson-Wood, Katie Boren, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, LaVon Fisher-Wilson, Patti Murin, Kat Nejat, Josh Segarra, Libby Servais, LaQuet Sharnell, Charlie Sutton, Jason Tam, Teddy Toye, and Jared Zirilli. Members of the original Broadway band, Freddy Hall, Alan Stevens Hewitt, Biti Strauhn, and Marques Walls are set to participate in the evening, which is produced by Shoshana Feinstein.
Lysistrata Jones is a modern retelling of the Greek myth Lysistrata. It features a score by Lewis Flinn and a Tony-nominated book by Douglas Carter Beane. The Broadway production opened in November 2011.
