The Public Theater held its annual summer gala at The Delacorte Theater on Monday, June 23. Titled One Thrilling Combination, the evening paid tribute to composer Marvin Hamlisch and his landmark musical A Chorus Line, which premiered at the Public's Lafayette Street home before moving to Broadway. The concert featured performances by Broadway veterans including Zachary Quinto, Jonathan Groff, Billy Porter, Lindsay Mendez, Krysta Rodriguez, and a number of original cast members of A Chorus Line. Guests for the evening included Courtney Love, Frank Langella, Gay Talese, Barbara Walters, and Tommy Tune.
