Reichard’s latest cabaret show has scheduled an upcoming performance.
Original Jersey Boys star Daniel Reichard will honor the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein with a February 5 performance at Feinstein's/54 Below.
Daniel Reichard Celebrates Rodgers & Hammerstein will feature songs from musicals including Oklahoma!, South Pacific, The King and I, Carousel, and The Sound of Music. Jesse Vargas will serve as orchestrator, musical director, and conductor. The show is being produced in association with MusicTalks and its artistic director, Elad Kabilio. It was originally produced at Birdland Jazz Club.
In addition to originating the role of Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys both on Broadway and in the La Jolla Playhouse premiere, Reichard has starred as Candide in the New York City Opera's Candide, Keith Haring in the Public Theater's Radiant Baby, and Frankie in the film version of Forever Plaid. He also sings in concert halls across the country with his fellow original Jersey Boys in the vocal group The Midtown Men.
