Producer Robyn Goodman will be honored during the ceremony, which recognizes the best in off-Broadway theater.
Married actors Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, who currently appear as ex-spouses Tammy Two and Ron Swanson on the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, will host this year's Lucille Lortel Awards on May 4 at the NYU Skirball Center. The event, which honors the best of off-Broadway, will recognize theater producer Robyn Goodman with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
At the same time, Mullally and Offerman will be starring in the New Group's off-Broadway production of Sharr White's Annapurna, which they bring to New York following a run at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles in 2012.
With the announcement of this year's Lortel Awards comes the additional information that the Off-Broadway League will be adding four new acting categories, to recognize actors in plays and musicals with separate awards. In the past, the categories have been combined.
