The two-time Tony Award winner returns to 54 Below.
Two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone has announced plans to return to 54 Below in her acclaimed concert, The Lady With the Torch. Performances are set to take place from April 2-14.
In the show, LuPone will perform a number of torch songs by such composers and lyricists as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. Conceived and directed by Tony Award winner Scott Wittman, The Lady With the Torch features musical direction by Joseph Thalken, orchestrations by Tony Award winner Jonathan Tunick, and dialogue by Jeffrey Richman.
Patti LuPone's New York stage credits include The Anarchist, An Evening With Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Gypsy, and many more. Her film and TV credits include Parker, Union Square, Driving Miss Daisy, Girls, and others.
