Peter Dinklage and Haley Bennett to Star in Cyrano at Goodspeed Musicals

Goodspeed Musicals has announced initial casting for its upcoming production of Cyrano, a new musical adaptation of the Edmond Rostand classic Cyrano de Bergerac. The production will run August 3-September 2 at the Terris Theatre.

Emmy Award-winning actor Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) will play the title role, with Haley Bennett (Thank You for Your Service) taking on the role of Roxanne. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Cyrano is adapted by Erica Schmidt in collaboration with members of the Grammy Award-winning indie alternative band the National. The show features music by Aaron and Bryce Dessner of the National, and lyrics by Matt Berninger of the National and Carin Besser.
