PHOTO FLASH: Ellen Barkin, Jessie Mueller, Amy Warren at The Hunchback Variations

Theatre Oobleck’s production of The Hunchback Variations, now at 59E59 Theaters, had some special guests on Thursday, June 7.

With music by Mark Messing and a libretto by Mickle Maher, the piece is performed as a panel discussion between Quasimodo, hunchback of Notre Dame, and composer Ludwig van Beethoven as they attempt to create sound effects for Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard. Larry Adams and George Andrew Wolff star in the production.

Guests ncluded Ellen Barkin, David Lindsay-Abaire, Jessie Mueller, Kathy Voytko, and Amy Warren.
