On Monday, November 15, Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth and the Young People’s Chorus (YPC) of New York performed at the unveiling of the 2010 Christmas Windows at Lord & Taylor (424 Fifth Avenue) on Monday, November 15.
Chenoweth is currently starring on Broadway in Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and received a Tony nomination for Wicked.
YPC was founded by Francisco J. Núñez in 1988. More than 1,100 children from ages seven to 18 participate annually through YPC’s core after-school program, its Satellite program in New York City schools and its national affiliates–the Young People’s Chorus of Erie (Pennsylvania) and the Young People’s Chorus at Thurnauer in Tenafly, New Jersey.
