MCC Theater held its annual Miscast gala Monday, March 26 at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Honoring Carrie the Musical writers Lawrence D. Cohen, Michael Gore, and Dean Pitchford, Miscast 2012 was hosted by Lewis Black and featured performers including Jonathan Groff, Megan Hilty, Nikki M. James, Constantine Maroulis and Nicole Parker. Additionally, the evening featured an auction led by auctioneer C.K. Swett.

Guests at the benefit included MCC artistic directors Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey and William Cantler, executive director Blake West, as well as Stafford Arima, Walter Bobbie, Jamie Cepero, Ansel Elgort, Lesley Gore, Adriane Lenox, Judith Light, Neil Meron, Susan Pourfar, Craig Zaden, and the cast of Carrie the Musical, including stars Marin Mazzie and Molly Ranson.
