PHOTO FLASH: Mel Brooks, Cloris Leachman, Donna Mills, Shirley Jones, et al. Celebrate Young Frankenstein‘s Opening in L.A.

The show, which runs through August 15, is directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, features a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, based on Brooks’ film, and music and lyrics by Brooks. The production stars Roger Bart as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein and Shuler Hensley as The Monster

The starry guest list for the opening night, included Cloris Leachman, who played Frau Blucher in the film on which the musical is based, along with Ed Ames, Jack Carter, Wilson Cruz, Corey Feldman, Patrick Gallagher, Elliott Gould, Samantha Harris, Marty Ingels, Anne Jeffreys, Shirley Jones, Kat Kramer, Madison Leisle,Kate LInder, Donna Mills, Julianna Rose, Vik Sahay, Mindy Sterling, Josh Sussman, Dick Van Patten, Stephanie Wall, Devon Werkheiser, Gunner Wright, and Rachel York.
