PHOTO FLASHBACK: Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth Celebrate the Broadway Opening of Wicked

Ten years ago today, on October 30, 2003, Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman’s musical Wicked premiered on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre. In celebration of the juggernaut landmark anniversary, we’re flashing back to its glamorous opening-night party at Tavern on the Green, where stars Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Norbert Leo Butz, Carole Shelley, and Joel Grey toasted a little show that was about to become a worldwide sensation.
