Pilgrim’s Progress Makes World Premiere at A Red Orchid Theatre

A Red Orchid Theatre's presentation of Pilgrim’s Progress starts this evening.

Thanksgiving at the McKee family’s residence is a mixture of chaos and tall tales. Amid the festivities, parents Jim and Melissa reminisce about their glory days. Their earth-poet Son and pregnant-teen daughter are left to grapple with family power struggles and contracts, while wading through decades of thinly veiled deceit. The family’s penchant for storytelling will test the limits of their abilities to elide the truth and force them to confront which version is more important.

A collaboration of ensemble members on every level, the show was written by ensemble member Brett Neveu and is directed by ensemble member Shade Murray. It features ensemble members Kirsten Fitzgerald and Drama Desk winner Michael Shannon.

Performances will run through November 29.
