Séquence 8, the internationally celebrated nouveau cirque spectacular by Les 7 Doigts de la Main (The 7 Fingers), opens this evening at New York City Center. The Montreal-based circus company, best known in the Broadway community for bringing high-flying life to the Tony-winning revival of Pippin, will offer performances through April 26. Directed by Shana Carroll and Sébastien Soldevila, two of the company's seven artistic director, the production blends its acrobatics with a combination of humor, music, and dance. Take a look at the performers as they test out some of their tricks on Governor's Island in advance of their New York opening.
