Plays by Heidi Schreck, Alex Borinsky, Ari Stess Set for Clubbed Thumb's Summerworks Series

Clubbed Thumb has announced its 2017 lineup for Summerworks, its annual summertime series of new plays. Now in its 22nd season, the festival will run May 20-July 1 at The Wild Project.

Ari Stess' The World My Mama Raised, directed by Kip Fagan, will run May 20-30.

Next up, June 5-15, is Alex Borinsky's Of Government, directed by Jeremy Bloom.

The festival will conclude June 21-July 1 with Heidi Schreck's What the Constitution Means to Me, directed by Oliver Butler. It is presented in a coproduction with True Love Productions.

Clubbed Thumb commissions, develops and produces funny, strange, and provocative new plays by living American writers. Since its founding in 1996, the company has earned five Obies including the Ross Wetzsteon Award for sustained artistic excellence.
