Here’s an ongoing list of cancellations and postponements in the wake of the January 26-27 snowstorm.
A blizzard bearing down on the Northeast is expected to set records in terms of snowfall in New York City, and forthcoming performances of Broadway and off-Broadway shows might be impacted.
"As of now," writes trade organization The Broadway League, "all Broadway shows are playing as scheduled" on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27. However, TheaterMania has learned that the Monday performance of The Phantom of the Opera, marking the musical's 27th anniversary, has been canceled, while the show will go on for Chicago and Mamma Mia! (the only other shows running on January 26).
Off-Broadway, three-theater venue 59E59 Theaters has decided to close through January 27, and the York Theatre Company has pushed the first preview of the new play Texas in Paris to January 28. Jason Robert Brown's January 26 concert at SubCulture has also been canceled.
Ticketholders wishing to exchange their tickets should contact their original point of purchase.

UPDATE: January 26, 3:02pm: The Broadway League has announced that all Broadway performances on January 26 have been canceled. An official notice about performances on January 27 will be released as soon as possible.
UPDATE: January 26, 3:35pm: Nightclub venue 54 Below has canceled its scheduled performances on January 26 and 27. The January 26 performance of David Michael Finkelstein's Bar Mitzvah has been rescheduled for March 4, while January 27's John Canfield and Reed Kelly: From Broadway to Survivor will play its second scheduled performance on January 28.
UPDATE: January 26, 5:43pm: The Tuesday, January 27 performances of Broadway's Aladdin and The Lion King have been canceled by Disney Theatrical Productions. The Broadway League will issue a statement on the morning of January 27 regarding whether additional shows will cancel performances. The January 26 shows of off-Broadway's Avenue Q and Nevermore at New World Stages have also been canceled.
