New York City
The brand-new shake will be available at the Upper West Side Shake Shack location beginning July 3.
Two well-known New York institutions are teaming up to create a new beverage for theater fans. The Public Theater announced that it has partnered with Shake Shack to develop a brand-new shake to pay tribute to free Shakespeare in the Park.
Beginning July 3, the Upper West Side Shack will serve the Shake-speare shake, a strawberry and rose shake topped with whipped cream and fairy dust sprinkles. This exclusive Shake-speare offering will be available only during the run of the Public Theater's next free Shakespeare in the Park production, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the limited-edition shake will benefit the Public Theater. Their last production, Julius Caesar, ran at the Delacorte Theater through June 18.
Shake Shack will stop spinning the Shake-speare when the cast of Midsummer takes its final bow on August 13.
