Rachel de Benedet, Brian Charles Rooney Set for York Theatre's Berlin to Broadway

The York Theatre Company has announced casting for its upcoming Musicals in Mufti production of Berlin to Broadway With Kurt Weill: A Musical Voyage. The show will run February 11-19.

Directed by Pamela Hunt, with music direction by Eric Svejcar, the cast will include Karl Josef Co, Rachel de Benedet, Michael Halling, Meghan Picerno, and Brian Charles Rooney.

Berlin to Broadway With Kurt Weill: A Musical Voyage, features music by Kurt Weill, text and format by Gene Lerner, and lyrics by Maxwell Anderson, Marc Blitzstein, Bertolt Brecht, Jacques Deval, TheaterMania contributor Michael Feingold, Ira Gershwin, Paul Green, Langston Hughes, Alan Jay Lerner, Ogden Nash, George Tabori, and Arnold Weinstein. A celebration of Weill's life and career, the work opened at the Theatre de Lys in 1972.
