Thom Yorke, the singer and principal songwriter for the Grammy-winning band Radiohead, will compose original music for Douglas Hodge's upcoming Broadway revival of Harold Pinter's Old Times. Previews of the Roundabout Theatre Company production begin September 17 at the American Airlines Theatre, with opening night set for October 6.

"In true Thom Yorke‐style, the music is epic, heartbreaking, irresistible, and complex," the Tony-winning Hodge (La Cage aux Folles) said in a statement. "I'm hopeful this collaboration will result in a new kind of theatergoer coming to our show."

"It's been a pleasure working with Doug on my first stage production," Yorke added. "I’ve enjoyed exploring through music the script's themes of love and memory as well as Pinter's rhythms, twists, and turns."

Clive Owen (The Knick), Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), and Kelly Reilly (True Detective) star in Pinter's drama of desire and blurred realities. Owen is Deeley, a man looking forward to meeting Anna (Best), a long-ago friend of his wife, Kate (Reilly). But as the night goes on, Anna’s visit quickly shifts from an ordinary sharing of memories to a quiet battle for power.

Yorke joins a creative team that includes Christine Jones (sets), Constance Hoffman (costumes), Japhy Weideman (lighting), and Clive Goodwin (sound).
