Rebecca Luker, Boyd Gaines, Tiler Peck, and the Cast of Little Dancer Meet the Press

A behind-the-scenes look at the world premiere musical about the dancer that famously posed for Edgar Degas.

The cast and creative team for the new Ahrens and Flaherty musical Little Dancer gathered at the New 42nd Street Studios for the first day of rehearsal. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Bullets Over Broadway), the story is inspired by the young ballerina who posed for Edgar Degas and went on to become the most famous dancer in the world. In attendance at the inaugural press event were four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines (Gypsy), three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker (Cinderella), and New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck, who lead the stellar cast of the world premiere production, set to begin performances at Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center on October 25.
