Several original cast members will depart later this month.
Three of the original cast members of Stereophonic will depart the production on Sunday, September 29, with a new company of actors taking over on October 1.
Departing are Tony nominees Juliana Canfield, Tom Pecinka, and Sarah Pidgeon; replacing them are Rebecca Naomi Jones (Holly), Amy Forsyth (Diana), and current understudy Benjamin Anthony Anderson (Peter). Emilie Kouatchou and Denver Milord will join as understudies.
Canfield, Pecinka, and Pidgeon have been with the production since it opened in the fall of 2023 at Playwrights Horizons. David Adjmi’s Tony-winning drama, with direction by Daniel Aukin and songs by Will Butler, is currently running at the Golden Theatre on Broadway, with an official closing date now set for January 12, 2025.
Continuing in their roles are Tony winner Will Brill, Eli Gelb, Andrew R. Butler, and Chris Stack.
