The Resident Acting Company — the new ensemble formed by members of the Pearl Theatre Company, which ceased operations two years ago — has announced "The Time Series," a monthly series at the Players featuring four script-in-hand performances that, according to a press release, "will explore various aspects of time, and the role it plays in literature and in our everyday lives."

The series will begin with Noël Coward's Blithe Spirit on April 8 with a cast that will include Rachel Botchan, Robin Leslie Brown, Bradford Cover, Dominic Cuskern, Dan Daily, Joi Danielle Price, Carol Schultz, and Emma Wisniewski.

Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard (May 6), an evening of Shakespeare's sonnets (June 10), and a fourth work to be announced will follow.
