The concert will feature selections from the Emmy-winning composer’s new musical project.
Emmy-winning composer and vocalist Lance Horne will headline a concert at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 15. The evening's guest performers include Emmy winner Ricki Lake, Julie Garnyé (Les Misérables at the Hollywood Bowl), Lisa Ann Walter (The Parent Trap) Ashley Fink (Glee), Shane Jenek (Courtney Act), and Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years), along with appearances by surprise stars.
The concert will feature selections from Horne's CD First Things Last as well as a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, the musician's upcoming "operatic theater" collaboration with Neil Gaiman.
First Things Last bridges pop, rock, theater, and jazz, and includes vocal performances by stars of stage and screen including Tony winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret), Amanda Palmer of musical group The Dresden Dolls, Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock, The Most Happy Fella), Tony nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent), Ricki Lake (Hairspray, The Ricki Lake Show), Meow Meow, Lea DeLaria (Orange Is the New Black), Alexandra Silber (Master Class), Aneurin Barnard (Spring Awakening), Julie Atherton (Mamma Mia!), Paul Spicer (Avenue Q), Emma Williams (BBC's How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?), and Hannah Waddingham (The Wizard of Oz).
