Russia's Vakhtangov Theatre brings its production of Alexander Pushkin's Eugene Onegin to New York City Center tonight. The play will run through June 1 as part of The Cherry Orchard Festival. Directed by Rimas Tuminas, the production is a modern interpretation of the work, with 45 actors and music by Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich. The play is performed in Russian with English subtitles.
