Sam Tsoutsouvas to Star in Anna Christie

Sam Tsoutsouvas will star as Chris Christopherson in Metropolitan Playhouse’s revival of Eugene O’Neill’s Anna Christie, to run November 14-December 14, with an opening night set for November 21. Robert Kalfin will direct.

In the play, Anna reunites with her estranged father and finds him both less and more than she hoped, while the love she makes with boiler stoker Mat Burke threatens to destroy all three of their yearning souls.

The production will also star Jenne Vath as Anna and Roger Clark as Mat Burke. The cast will also include Joe Atack, Nick Delany, Karen Christie-Ward, Ian Campbell Dunn, Zachary Spicer, and Rob Sulaver. Tsoutsouvas’ Broadway credits include Our Country’s Good, By Jeeves, The Three Sisters, and Edward II.
