Ann Harada’s comic cabaret enlists a troupe of Broadway beaus.
A lineup of 13 Broadway beaus will join Ann Harada for her show, Christmas Eve’s Holiday Hunkfest, on December 12 at Howl at the Moon in New York City. The evening is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Hosted by Harada, Avenue Q's original Christmas Eve on Broadway and in London, the cabaret's 13 guests will perform "show tunes and modern hits sure to liven up the holidays." The cast will feature Corey Cott (Bandstand), Colin Cunliffe (Finding Neverland), Aaron Finley (Kinky Boots), Santino Fontana (Cinderella), Jordan Gelber (Elf), James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin), Devin Ilaw (Miss Saigon), Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town), Donald Jones Jr. (Aladdin), Michael Mindlin (Aladdin), Ryan Silverman (Side Show), Howie Michael Smith (Avenue Q), and Bobby Conte Thornton (A Bronx Tale — The Musical).
Christmas Eve’s Holiday Hunkfest is directed by Alan Muraoka with choreography by Michael Mindlin and music direction by Gary Adler. The show was conceived and written by Adler, Harada, and Muraoka.
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the major supporter of the social service programs at The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic. Broadway Cares also awards annual grants to more than 450 AIDS and family service organizations in all 50 states.
