Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical is currently on the road across the country.
The national tour of School of Rock has welcomed a new group of cast members to the production.
Joining the company are child performers Camille De La Cruz (Tomika), Eamonn Hubert (Swing), Isabella Rose Sky (Swing) and Dylan Trueblood (Mason), who joins his brother Cameron Trueblood in the cast. New members of the adult ensemble will include Matt Caplan, Alison Cusano, Brian Golub, Lizzie Klemperer, JP Qualters. and Khalifa White. Current cast member Julian Brescia will move into the role of Lawrence.
The company is led by Merritt David Janes as Dewey, Lexie Dorsett Sharp as Rosalie, Madison Micucci as Patty, Layne Roate as Ned, and Gary Trainor as the Dewey alternate.
Based on the 2003 film, School of Rock features music from the movie, as well as an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater, a book by Julian Fellowes, choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, and direction by Laurence Connor.
The tour is currently at the Providence Performing Arts Center, where it will run through March 3.
