See Bebe Neuwirth, Judy Kuhn, and More in Hey, Look Me Over!

The 25th Encores! season opened last night, February 7, at New York City Center with Hey, Look Me Over! Marc Bruni directs this Encores! original with musical direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Denis Jones. Performances run through February 11. See photos from the revue in the gallery below.

Bob Martin reprises his Drowsy Chaperone role of Man in Chair alongside Clyde Alves, Reed Birney, Carolee Carmello, Britney Coleman, Clifton Duncan, Marc Kudisch, Judy Kuhn, Tam Mutu, Bebe Neuwirth, Nancy Opel, Douglas Sills, Alexandra Socha, and Vanessa Williams.

Conceived by Viertel, Hey, Look Me Over! is described as follows: "Catch a glimpse of some of the overtures, opening numbers, grand finales, and other excerpts from the beloved shows that have not yet found a berth on the Encores! stage in this original production, Hey, Look Me Over! Man in Chair, a somewhat woebegone musical-theater geek, will lead audiences through these sequences from actual American musicals, as opposed to the fictional sequences he extolled upon in The Drowsy Chaperone."

Among the musicals that will be featured in Hey, Look Me Over! are All American, George M!, Greenwillow, Jamaica, Mack & Mabel, Milk and Honey, Sail Away, and Wildcat.
