Disney has released a trailer for its live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, featuring Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast. Set for a March 2017 release, the movie will include new recordings of now-classic songs like "Be Our Guest" and the Oscar-winning title number by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, as well as new songs penned by Menken and Tim Rice.
Directed by Bill Condon, with a screenplay by Stephen Chbosky, Beauty and the Beast's cast also features Luke Evans (The Hobbit) as Gaston, Tony nominee Josh Gad (The Book of Mormon) as LeFou, Emma Thompson (Saving Mr. Banks) as Mrs. Potts, two-time Tony winner Kevin Kline (A Fish Called Wanda) as Maurice, six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald (Shuffle Along) as Garderobe, Ewan McGregor (The Real Thing) as Lumiere, and Tony winner Sir Ian McKellen (Waiting for Godot) as Cogsworth.
