Portraits of the stars of Joe DiPietro's Living on Love have been released. The comedy, inspired by the Garson Kanin play Peccadillo and directed by Kathleen Marshall, begins performances April 1 at the Longacre Theatre. Opening night is set for April 20.
Acclaimed soprano Renée Fleming leads the cast as celebrated diva Raquel De Angelis, who hires a handsome young scribe (Jerry O'Connell) to chronicle her life when her maestro husband, Vito (Douglas Sills), becomes enamored with the young woman (Anna Chlumsky) hired to ghostwrite his mostly fictional autobiography. This production made its debut in 2014 at Williamstown Theatre Festival. Blake Hammond and Scott Robertson complete the company.
The creative team includes Derek McLane (scenic design), Michael Krass (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Scott Lehrer (sound design), and Rob Fisher (music consultant).
