See Songwriter Barry Mann and His Beautiful Alter Ego Jarrod Spector Together Onstage

There were many special friends in attendance at Jarrod Spector's cabaret show, A Little Help From My Friends, on April 9 at 54 Below. Spector's castmates from Broadway's Beautiful — The Carole King Musical were in the crowd, and, as previously announced, songwriter Barry Mann also made an appearance with his wife and collaborator, Cynthia Weil.

In Beautiful, currently running at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, Spector plays a young version of Mann alongside Anika Larsen as Weil. The show also stars Tony Award nominee Jessie Mueller as the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Carole King and Jake Epstein as Gerry Goffin.
