Mamie Gummer and the rest of the cast of Roundabout Theatre Company's Ugly Lies the Bone met the press for the first time this morning. Ugly Lies the Bone tells the story of Jess, a newly discharged soldier who returns to her Florida hometown and begins to use a virtual-reality video game to help combat the physical and emotional scars of her three tours in Afghanistan. The play is the first-ever recipient of a Special Citation of Excellence from the Laurents/Hatcher Foundation.

In addition to Gummer (Jess), the cast features Karron Graves (Kacie), Caitlin O'Connell (Voice, Their Mom), Chris Stack (Stevie), and Haynes Thigpen (Kelvin).
