Lila Neugebauer directs Cristin Milioti in Zoe Kazan’s play about what happens in an apocalyptic future.
Lincoln Center Theater's production of After the Blast by playwright Zoe Kazan (Absalom) recently began performances at the Claire Tow Theater. Under the direction of Lila Neugebauer (The Wolves), opening night is set for October 23 and the run will continue through November 19.
Featured in the cast are Eboni Booth (Fulfillment Center), Will Connolly (Once), William Jackson Harper (All the Way), Ben Horner (Curious Incident), Cristin Milioti (Once), David Pegram (War Horse), and Teresa Yenque (A Streetcar Named Desire). The play is set in the wake of a total environmental disaster, when the human population has retreated underground, experience is simulated, and fertility is regulated.
The creative team includes Daniel Zimmerman (set design), Kaye Voyce (costume design), Eric Southern (lighting design), Brandon Wolcott (sound design), and Lucy Mackinnon (projection design).
